The Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) provides a general right of access to information held by the Trust. Any request for information about yourself will be handled via the Subject Access Request procedures of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
- Information requested under the FOIA can be submitted via email to trust@rtmat.org.uk
- A clear description of the requested information must be provided.
- The Trust may need to seek clarification on any request where it is not possible to identify the information needed from the original description provided.
- The Trust will give directions on how to locate the information if your request covers information that is already published.
- The Trust will give advice and assistance if you are uncertain how to describe the information you require.
- The trust may refuse vexatious requests for information, under section 14 of the FOIA.
- The Trust may redact or withhold information that is covered by relevant exemptions of the FOIA.
- An explanation will be provided when an information request is refused or is only partially answered.
- The Trust will respond as fully as possible when it holds only some of the information requested
